Hello everyone,
I love this website tool. Thanks again to SJ Jordan and the Doughnut Philosopher.
A one-act play entitled The Spitting Image, written by Vagabond Jordan Trethewey, will be performed as a evening of one-act plays at the Atlantic Baptist University in Moncton on Dec. 12. I will post again with a specific time for the show once I hear from the producers.
pretty pumped,
Cannonball
I have just added some of the work I’ve been fortunate enough to publish over the years to the Pages portion of this site under, you guessed it, Jordan Trethewey.
Please window shop at will. ‘Tis the season.

I thought I should tell you a little bit more about myself, or at least my writing. Soon, I want to start using this space not only to promote myself and the other vagabonds, but also as a place to blog things that inspire/affect/distract me as a writer. This won’t become a dumping ground for everything that I find interesting on the internet. I’ve got facebook, digg and del.icio.us accounts for that. But, if I find something suitable, I will post it. And I’d like to see some of the other Vagabonds do the same. I don’t really do subtle hints, guys.
Anyway, I’m the sort of person who has more ideas than motivation, so a lot of projects that I come up with don’t ever get worked on. Generally, though, if I think there’s some merit to a project, I will work on it. I’ll procrastinate a lot, but eventually, the work will happen.
The big project that I have on the go, and the one that I’m most likely to talk about when asked what I write, is probably a novel. I say probably only because, while I would like it to be novel-length, I don’t outline, and it could well turn out to be a shorter piece than I intend. It’s a work about libraries, copyright, education, MMORPGs, and awkward relationships. It might be science-fiction, it might be literature with a healthy dose of futurism. Either way, you’ll see the occasional excerpt here.
I’ve also got a couple of short stories on the go. These are definitely sci-fi. One is about alien artists who have come to Earth to draw us. Another is about a recylcing crew that shows up to dismantle an evacuated island community only to find that some of the inhabitants have returned. A third is about data smuggling and bird flu.
Every now and then I’ll dabble in poetry or script as well, but not often, and I don’t have any of either that I want to focus on at the moment.
